Adgar Poland has launched a new sports facility at the Adgar Plaza complex in Warsaw’s Służewiec district. Situated next to the office buildings, the new beach volleyball court creates a dedicated space for corporate integration, sporting events, and after-work activities for employees. The facility is available free of charge to tenants, while external users may also access it for a fee, both during the day and in the evening. This initiative differentiates the location from standard market offerings, responding to the expectations of office employees and fostering stronger community ties.
The new beach volleyball court, situated in the heart of Warsaw’s Służewiec business district, opened with an atmosphere of excitement, competitive spirit, and music filling the air. Surrounded by soft sand and positive energy, it has quickly become a space designed for activity, connection, and informal meetings. The facility is accessible to all tenants—both during work breaks and after office hours—and reflects Adgar Poland’s philosophy of creating environments that bring people together, support wellbeing, and provide a moment of respite from daily responsibilities.
The inaugural tournament brought together tenant teams from Adgar Poland’s office buildings, delivering high sporting excitement, healthy competition, and a spirit of fair play. Following its successful debut, a second edition of the tournament has already been scheduled for September, once again offering an opportunity for shared activity, engagement, and integration.
“For years, we have highlighted that a modern workplace goes beyond ergonomic office furniture and fast Wi-Fi—it is equally about creating spaces that foster relationships and support work-life balance. The beach volleyball court at Adgar Plaza is a perfect example of this approach.”
– says Monika Szelenberger, Head of Asset & Leasing Management w Adgar Poland.
“This is also a distinctive feature of our offering, going far beyond traditional employee benefits such as gym memberships or yoga classes on a terrace. We look for solutions that combine physical activity with relationship-building, and this court is the best example of that approach.”

The investment aligns closely with current workplace trends and employee expectations. According to the Activy report “Corporate Sports Initiatives in Practice”, 74% of employees would like their company to actively encourage physical activity through dedicated sports initiatives. Additionally, 86% of respondents say that physical activity helps them maintain good health, while 93% report a positive impact on their mental wellbeing. Employees particularly value access to sports infrastructure at the workplace and the opportunity to participate in activities together with their colleagues. Companies that consistently invest in employee wellbeing benefit not only from higher engagement but also from increased loyalty, with employee retention improving by as much as 10–20%.ć nawet o 10–20 proc.
While using the beach volleyball court, it is impossible not to notice the new mural decorating the façade of the adjacent building. The artwork depicts a volleyball scene set against well-known elements of Warsaw’s skyline and city landmarks, such as the Palace of Culture and Science and a city tram, while also incorporating distinctive buildings from Adgar Poland’s Warsaw portfolio. In doing so, it symbolically connects them into a unified urban narrative.
“Our mural is not merely a decorative feature of this space; it is also a visual statement of our belonging to the city and its energy.”
– conclude Monika Szelenberger.
The opening of the new beach volleyball court is yet another example of how Adgar Poland delivers on its brand promise, “This is where you want your office.” It represents another step in the company’s strategy of creating place-making destinations that remain active beyond standard working hours, integrating office functions with leisure, culture, and wellbeing.
Just a few minutes’ walk from Adgar Plaza, at Adgar BIT, a summer amphitheatre hosts cultural events open not only to tenants but also to the wider local community. Meanwhile, at the Adgar Park West complex in Ochota, a dedicated chill-out room offers another non-standard amenity within the company’s portfolio.
Adgar Poland also supports physical activity beyond its own premises—every Tuesday, tenants can join free running sessions organized in cooperation with ASICS. These initiatives and investments contribute to the creation of modern urban environments where work and life naturally blend.
